In our weekly update, keep up to date on what staff and volunteers at the Lindsborg Old Mill & Swedish Heritage Museum are working on to lift up the history of Lindsborg and the surrounding region. This weekly update both looks back at what happened last week and looks ahead at what’s coming.
For June 19-25, 2023:
- Starting at 9 a.m. this Tuesday (and every Tuesday after that!) there’s a great new opportunity to join the Museum “Handy” Crew and put your talents to work with minor construction, restoration, and maintenance projects. Grab your toolbox and we’ll see you there!
- The museum WILL be open next week on July 4 for Independence Day!
- Endowment Our ongoing campaign to add $1 million to the museum’s endowment is progressing – now at $41,000. To help us reach this important goal, contact us at 785-227-3595 or info@oldmillmuseum.org.
- Scandy fish are on a summertime sale for just $2! Stop by in person for this tasty Swedish treat.
- Another 10 products are now available for purchase through the museum’s online gift shop. In particular, there are trivets and coasters made from wheat straw and eight new popular books about Swedish culture, history, and cuisine!
