MISC. RECORDS
The 1890 Federal Census was destroyed in a fire January 10, 1921.
This index was created from the list of residents found in the 1890 Tax Assessments.
In most cases it lists only those persons over the age of 21.
This is an index of Pioneer Families that have lived in the county 100 years or more.
This is information that has been submitted by the families.
The McPherson County Historical Society started this project in 1970 which was the centennial of the county.
