Have you inherited a collection of old family photos? Will they end up in the dumpster or antique shop? Or will they become the treasured collection that your family will enjoy and learn from for years to come?
We’ll talk about how to organize, identify and gather new research clues from the photos in your collection. Whether there are names on them or not, they are treasures we can learn from. Those old photos can tell some great stories about your family.
Don’t have a photo collection? No worries, we’ll also talk a bit about how to find photos of your ancestors.
Your Presenter
Sue Schlichting is a native Nebraskan who has more than 30 years of research experience. She has expertise in Midwestern research with an emphasis in German, Swedish, and Homestead records.
Sue enjoys photography in her spare time. Having inherited several large photo collections, she has spent many hours working to organize and identify hundreds of old and unidentified family photos.
Sue is a genealogist, speaker, teacher and coach.
